- Keith Higinbotham home studio test sample.
Hello!
I’m Keith (or Keef).
I was born in Sidcup and have spent most of my life dotting around the South East of the UK and in London, working as an actor, a craft beer manager, a workshop facilitator for Shakespeare, and have played pretty much every single character in the London Dungeons. I enjoyed all of these roles, but decided to take my love of characters, voices, accents (and being loud) and turn it into a business.
I trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama on their prestigious Voice Studies MFA and have since been coaching clients from all over the world in film, tv, and on stage, as well as voicing TV and radio commercials, video games, and audiobooks of my own.
Voiceover has been my obsession for as long as I can remember. I delight in speaking words, recreating accents and making noise. Above all, I love working with clients who give me the opportunity and creative reign to deliver on a brief that is spot on, as well as surprising with my distinct South East flair. I always go above and beyond to make sure my valued clients enjoy the professionalism, passion and fun I bring to their projects.

I aid professional and non-professional voice users discover and seek out their vocal potential. I want every voice user to reach their speaking and performance potential, whatever their goal may be. Accents (I’m obsessed), performance, confidence, clarity, projection; you name it, we can cover it.

I’ve played video games for as long as I can remember. From the humble Super Nintendo to the heights of homebuilt super computers, I’ve immersed myself in tales of knights and dragons, of space pirates, and of course, of looking after created families in a life simulator (10 points for getting this reference!) Needless to say, I’ve got a bit of an idea of what makes a great video game performance.
Nowadays, I’ve been able to combine my love of video game performance with my MFA in Voice Studies to direct some pretty awesome performances in some pretty outstanding games. My recent work includes critically acclaimed Baldur’s Gate 3, and a few others I can’t quite mention just yet.
If you’re looking for a voice and performance director for your video game project who loves games, has a degree in vocal performance, is a complete nerd, is an accent and dialect specialist who also creates dialects from scratch, and who shares the same last name as one of the inventors of video games, William Higinbotham (spooky right?!), then please get in touch!
Want to record with me? I’ve got you covered.
From my home studio in Kent on my RODE NT1A microphone, I have the ability to connect with clients all over the world! We can connect via Zoom, Teams, Cleanfeed and more, and you’re always welcome to join remotely and direct our sessions. The more, the merrier!
